Camilo Daza International Airport, opened on October 10, 1971, is one of the most important in Colombia. It serves the Norte de Santander department and the neighbouring Venezuelan state of Táchira. It operates with domestic and international flights to Panama.

The airport is located 5 km (3.5 miles) to the north of the city of Cúcuta.

Taxi - At the exit from the passenger terminal there are regular cabs (yellow) and special taxis (white). The trip to the city centre takes approximately 15 minutes.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureau, mobile phone service, public telephones and Wi-Fi access. The Avianca Sala VIP lounge, open from 4:30 am to 9:30 pm, is located on the second floor and offers air conditioning, newspapers and magazines, telephones, Wi-Fi, TV, refreshments, drinks (accessible with Priority Pass, United Club or Air Canada Maple Leaf membership, executive class passengers from Avianca and Avianca LifeMiles Gold or Diamond, first or business class passengers from Star Alliance and Star Alliance Gold airlines, or by paying at the door - US$25.00).

Food and Drinks- Restaurants, coffee shops and confectioneries on the second floor.
Shopping- There are stores selling souvenirs, regional goods, newsagents, tobacconists.
Baggage- Secure luggage wrapping on the first floor, next to gates 3 and 4. In case of missing or damaged luggage, head to the counter of the corresponding airline with your plane and baggage tickets.

Two outdoor parking lots are available outside the terminal, one of them private and the other for public use. Prices

 

Facilities include access ramps, elevators and reserved parking spaces. If you should require special assistance during your transit through the airport, inquire with your airline in advance.
