Salvador - Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport, founded in 1925 and reopened on September 2, 2002, is the busiest in the state of Bahia and northeastern Brazil, and one of the most important in the country. Food and Drinks- There are several restaurants, confectioneries, fast food outlets, icecream stores, cafés, pizza places and bars on both levels of the terminal, some of them open 24 hours a day.
Shopping- A large variety of businesses is available, including duty-free shops in the Domestic Departures Hall, handicrafts, regional goods, clothing and accessories, books and magazines, jewellery, tobacco, sweets, perfumes, cosmetics, music.
Baggage- The lost and found office is located in the Domestic Arrivals Hall and operates Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (Tel +55 71 3204 1760).

Bus - First Class Bus (Tel +55 71 3432 1000) travels to the city centre and Praça da Sé between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm, stopping at several hotels in Salvador.
On the other hand, Transalvador (Tel +55 71 3202 9000) operates several lines to the historic centre, Campo Grande, Lapa and Praça da Sé.

Metro - The Aeroporto Station from CCR Metrô Bahia (Tel +55 800 071 8020) is connected to the terminal building through air-conditioned buses, which are also accessible for people with reduced mobility. Services operate from 5:00 am to 0:00 am and run to Mussurunga, Pituaçu, Imbuí, Rodoviária, Lapa, Pirajá and Águas Claras.
Taxi - In front of the airport's car park there are special taxis with fixed fares, in addition to regular metered cabs. The trip to the city centre takes 30-40 minutes.
Public transport schedules and routes
