Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek International Airport, opened on May 3, 1957, serves the area of the capital of Brazil and is one of the busiest and most modern in the country. It operates with numerous domestic flights and with international destinations in Argentina, the United States, Panama and Portugal.

Annual passenger traffic: 16.9 million passengers went through it in 2017.

The airport has banks (Mondays through Fridays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm), ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (24 hours a day), post office, VIP lounges, mobile phone service and free Wi-Fi access.

Food and Drinks- Throughout the terminal you can find a wide offer of restaurants, icecream stores, fast food outlets, pizza places, coffee shops, bars and confectioneries. Fran's Café, Casa do Pão de Queijo, Grão Café, Pizza Hut, Subway and Viena Café are open 24 hours a day.
Shopping- Options include duty-free articles in the international area, in addition to stores selling souvenirs, press, books, clothing, accessories, flowers, electronics, jewellery.
Baggage- Left luggage service in the public area, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Tel +55 61 3364 9137). Secure plastic wrapping around the clock in the public sector (Tel +55 61 3364 9094). Lost and found office on the Arrivals level, available Mondays through Fridays between 7:00 am and 0:00 am (Tel +55 61 3214 6109).

Bus - There is an executive service (line 113) that operates every day between 6:30 am and 0:00 am (until 11:00 pm on the weekends), with a frequency of 30 minutes. It runs to Eixo L Sul, Esplanada dos Ministérios, Setor Hoteleiro Norte, Centro de Convenções Ulysses Guimarães, Setor Hoteleiro Sul and Eixo W Sul, in addition to the main tourist spots, like the cathedral, Praça dos Três Poderes and Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha. Taxi - Cabs are available 24 hours a day outside the Domestic Arrivals level. You can also hire a pre-paid service from SaferTaxi (Tel +55 21 3090 0483). Travel time to downtown Brasília is 15-25 minutes.
