Belo Horizonte airport (CNF)

Tancredo Neves International Airport, also known as Confins Airport and opened on July 15, 1982, is one of the largest, busiest and most modern in Brazil. It operates with numerous domestic destinations and with international flights to Argentina, the United States, Panama and Portugal.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminal 1 (domestic flights) and Terminal 3 (international flights). Open 24 hours a day and connected through a free shuttle service.
Annual passenger traffic: 10.1 million passengers went through it in 2017.

The airport is located in Confins, 38 km (22 miles) to the north of Belo Horizonte.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (24 hours a day), post office and free Wi-Fi access.

Food and Drinks- There are bars, restaurants, cafés, icecream stores, fast food outlets, pizza places and vending machines scattered throughout the terminals. Bob's and Casa do Pão de Queijo are open 24 hours a day.
Shopping- Duty-free articles inside Terminal 3. There are also stores selling cosmetics, spirits, imported and regional goods, jewellery, magazines, books, perfumes, gifts, flowers, sport goods, accessories, toys, sweets, footwear, clothing.
Baggage- Secure plastic wrapping in the check-in halls (Tel +55 31 984 250 675). Lockers in the external area of Terminal 1. Lost and found office on the first floor of Terminal 1 (Tel +55 31 3689 2089).
Other Services- Pharmacy, spa, children's play areas, baby changing facilities, first aid clinic.

 

Bus - Conexão Aeroporto (Tel +55 31 3689 2368 / 2415) runs between the airport and Contagem from Monday to Friday between 5:20 am and 11:35 pm, Saturdays from 7:00 am to 8:30 pm and Sundays from 7:00 am to 9:30 pm. There are also executive buses to Terminal Álvares Cabral, Terminal Rodoviário and Terminal Betim, in Belo Horizonte, with a trip of approximately 1 hour. Some of them also stop at Pampulha Airport (journey time: 45 minutes).
On the other hand, Expresso Unir (Tel +55 31 3663 8020) operates services to Vespasiano, Belo Horizonte, Capim Branco, Lagoa Santa, Pedro Leopoldo and Confins from 5:10 am to 1:45 am.
Rates and schedules

Taxi - There are cabs from Cooperfins (Tel +55 31 3689 2113), Coopertramo (Tel +55 31 3689 2040), Cootramo (Tel +55 31 3689 2352) and Minas Táxi (Tel +55 31 3689 2349) in front of the Domestic Arrivals area and the central hall of both terminals. Available from 6:00 am to 2:00 am. The trip to Belo Horizonte takes 45-60 minutes.

Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline about their needs 48 hours in advance. Said passengers have the right to preferential treatment at check-in and while boarding the plane.
