Jorge Wilstermann International Airport serves the city of Cochabamba and is one of the busiest and most modern in the country. It operates with domestic flights and some international destinations in Peru.

The airport is located 3 km (1.8 miles) to the south of the city centre.

Bus - Line B microbuses link the airport with the city centre, going through Villa Busch Norte, Puente Killman, Plaza 14 de Septiembre and Villa Moscú.

Taxi - Ranks are located next to the terminal. Authorized operators at the airport are Taxis S.J. Aeropuerto (Tel +591 428 0002) and Taxis 14 de Septiembre (Tel +591 442 8001). The trip to the city centre takes approximately 10 minutes.

 

Outside the International Arrivals Hall is found an office from Europcar (Tel +591 459 0491), open Mondays through Fridays between 8:30 am and 7:00 pm and weekends from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.

 

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureau and free Wi-Fi access.

Food and Drinks- There is a coffee shop on the ground floor.
Shopping- On the lower and mezzanine levels there are handicraft and souvenir shops, perfumeries, confectioneries.
Baggage- Left luggage and plastic wrapping services in the main hall (Tel +591 459 0632). Any problems with registered luggage should be directed to the desk of your airline.
Other Services- Emergency medical service.

 

The airport's parking lot, located opposite the terminal, is covered and has permanent security staff. The service is free and available for short- and long-term stays.

 

Facilities include ramps, adapted toilets and telephones. Boarding assistance and full personal aid are also available by booking at least 48 hours in advance. If you should require a wheelchair, get in touch with the counter of your airline. Children between 5 and 12 years old can travel alone and will be supervised by the airline crew.
