Rosario airport (ROS)

Rosario Islas Malvinas International Airport, better known as Fisherton Airport and opened on August 18, 1940, is one of the most important in Argentina and situated in a strategic point of the bi-oceanic corridor. It operates with domestic and international flights to destinations in South and Central America. In addition, through combinations you can reach other locations in Europe and North America.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open 24 hours a day.
Annual passenger traffic: 778,000 passengers went through it in 2017.

  Location

The airport is located 15 km (9.5 miles) to the west of the city of Rosario.

The airport has an ATM, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access. The Sala VIP Cabotaje lounge is located in the Domestic Departures area; it has TV, Wi-Fi, telephones and coffee service, and you can access it through online booking.

Food and Drinks- There is a cafe on the ground floor from 6 am to 2 am, a restaurant upstairs (public area) open 24 hours and a 24 hour cafe in the boarding area. There are also vending machines for coffee, beverages and snacks.
Shopping- Options include duty-free shops in the International Departures and Arrivals Halls, convenience store, clothing and accessories, perfumes, gifts, toys, jewellery.
Baggage- Secure luggage wrapping in the central hall. In case of missing luggage, head to the offices of the appropriate airline.

Bus

Aeromovi (Tel +54 341 422 5120) is a shuttle service connecting the airport with the bus station (27 min) and downtown Rosario (the intersection Dorrego and Santa Fe streets) -  from 7:20 am to 1:40 am. Horarios y venta de boletos

Empresa Mixta de Transporte Rosario (EMTR) (Tel +54 341 442 5107) connects the airport with the city centre through line 115 - Bandera Aeropuerto, with departures around the clock. Stops include Autódromo, Mariano Moreno bus terminal, Centro de Especialidades Médicas Ambulatorias M.H. Zuasnábar, shopping centers and universities. To use the service you will need a contactless card that you can acquire at the terminal's drugstore.


Minibus - Manuel Tienda León (Tel +54 341 409 8000) links the airport with the Rosario bus terminal, private homes, Ezeiza airport and Aeroparque, and with the cities of Santa Fe and Paraná. More information
Traslados Exclusivos (Tel +54 341 452 6030 / 155 638 440) offers door-to-door transfers in shared minibuses.
Global Vip (Tel 0 800 555 5488) provides an express service to and from the airport, and goes to the Rosario area, Santa Fe, Paraná, Rafaela, Esperanza and San Francisco.

Taxi - There is a remis (VIP taxi) service with official qualification and fixed rates that link the airport with downtown Rosario and different locations. Journey time to the city centre is 30 minutes.
