Bariloche airport (BRC)

Teniente Luis Candelaria International Airport, opened in 1954, serves the city of San Carlos de Bariloche and a large tourist area of the Argentinian Patagonia. It operates mostly with domestic flights.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm.
Annual passenger traffic: 1.3 million passengers went through it in 2017.

The airport is located 14 km (9 miles) to the east of the city of San Carlos de Bariloche.

Bus - Line 72 departs from the parking lot of the airport and runs to Moreno Street, between Palacios and Rolando, in the city centre. Intermediate stops include the office of the Highway Police, the city bus terminal and the waterfront. More information: Tel +54 2944 423 469.
There is also a minibus public service operated by Mi Bus (Tel +54 2944 426 440 / 507) to the city that leaves from the main exterior stairway of the terminal.

Taxi - Cabs are available opposite the main door of the terminal. More information: Tel +54 2944 423 469 / 422 685. Remises (VIP taxis) are provided by Remises Auto Jet (Tel +54 2944 405 016 ext. 127), with a counter situated in the public area of the Arrivals Hall, on the ground floor. The trip to the city centre takes approximately 20 minutes.

The airport has ATMs and Wi-Fi access free of charge. The Aeropuertos VIP Club lounge is located in the Departures area and opens from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm; the maximum stay is 3 hours and it offers TV, air conditioning, newspapers and magazines, telephones, Wi-Fi, computers, snacks, drinks (accessible with Priority Pass or VIP Club membership, or by paying at the door - USD36.00).

Food and Drinks- Confectioneries and a coffee shop are available on the upper floor.
Shopping- Duty-free goods in the international pre-boarding lounge, on the first floor. There are also jewelleries, souvenir stands and a convenience store.
Baggage- Trolleys and secure luggage wrapping available. Lost luggage should be accounted for at the offices of the airport police (Tel +54 2944 405 071).
