Dunedin Airport, also known as Momona Airport and opened in 1962, serves the Otago region, in South Island. It operates with domestic destinations and some international flights to Australia.

Location

Dunedin airport is located 22 km (15 miles) to the west of the city center.

The airport has ATMs, charging stations, internet kiosks and Wi-Fi access with no charge for 30 minutes. On the second floor of the terminal there is a business center with meeting and conference rooms. The Air New Zealand Regional Lounge is located on the upper floor and opens since one hour before the first flight until the last; it provides Wi-Fi, computers, fax, photocopiers, printers, meeting room, charging stations, newspapers and magazines, food and beverages (access with Koru Club, Airpoints Gold or Elite membership, business class passengers from Air New Zealand).

Food and Drinks- There are coffee shops and restaurants on the ground floor and level 1.
Shopping- Duty-free stores on level 1 and the Arrivals and International Departures areas, in addition to gift shops, books and magazines.
Baggage- Trolleys available for free in the Arrivals Hall. Luggage storage at the customer service desk, on the ground floor. Enquiries about lost property should be made at Tel +64 3486 2879.
Other Services- First aid clinic, baby changing room, showers, children's play areas.

 

Bus - Super Shuttle (Tel +64 9522 5100 / 800 748 8853) operates door-to-door, shared minibus services 24 hours a day. Stops are located next to the main doors.

The parking lot operates around the clock and can be used for short or long periods. It has perimeter barriers and regular patrols. The first 15 minutes of stay are free of charge. Payment is made at automatic stations situated inside the terminal, to the left of the main entrance. Prices

 

If you should require special assistance or wheelchairs during your stay at the airport, get in touch with the information desk or your airline in advance. There are elevators between all floors, adapted toilets and reserved parking spaces near the terminal entrance.
