Darwin International Airport, opened in 1945, is the busiest in the Northern Territory. It operates with domestic destinations and international flights within Oceania and the Far East.

Bus - Darwin City Airport Shuttle Service (Tel +61 889 473 979) runs to most accommodations in the city. Departures correspond with flight schedules and the stop is found in front of the terminal. Journey time to downtown Darwin is 15 minutes. The company has a desk opposite the luggage carousels.
You can also book services from Buslink (Tel +61 889 442 444), Coach Charters Australia (Tel +61 889 881 447), Grand Touring Coaches (Tel 1800 444 149 / +61 889 810 300) and Greyhound Australia (Tel 1800 801 294) to destinations in the Northern Territory and throughout the country. They leave from the coach parking area, on the Eastern end of the terminal and accessed through a covered walkway.

Taxi - Metered cabs available across from the terminal. The trip to the city centre takes 10-20 minutes.

The enclosure has three parking lots operating around the clock. Payment can be made inside the car park itself or at one of the stations located on the ground floor of the terminal. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to notify their airline or travel agency about their needs at the time of their booking. Designated parking spaces are available on each side of the pedestrian walkways leading to the terminal. There are also escalators, lifts and adapted toilets.
