Adelaide Airport, opened in 1954, is one of the busiest in Australia. It operates with domestic destinations and some international flights in Oceania, Asia and the Middle East.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open from 4:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Annual passenger traffic: More than 8 million passengers went through it during 2017.

The airport is located 8 km (5 miles) to the west of Adelaide.

Bus - Adelaide Metro (Tel +61 882 101 000) operates the JetExpress service to the city every hour from Monday to Friday, with stops at several key locations and hotels and a journey time of about 25 minutes. There are also several regular lines (JetBus): J1 - Glenelg Interchange, Harbour Town Centre, Sir Donald Bradman Drive; J3 - Glenelg Interchange, Sir Donald Bradman Drive; J7 - West Lakes Centre, Marion Centre, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Findon and Morphett (weekdays only); J8 - West Lakes Centre, Marion Centre, Torrens, Arndale Centre, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Findon, Morphett (Mondays through Fridays). Buses leave from the stop left of the pedestrian plaza and tickets can be acquired on board.
Airport City Shuttle (Tel +61 433 533 718) offers door-to-door transfers from the enclosure to several hotels and destinations in all city suburbs; they operate Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm, Saturdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sundays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Taxi - Ranks are located to the left of the pedestrian plaza when exiting the terminal. The trip to the city centre takes around 15-20 minutes.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (4:30 am to 10:00 pm), postal services, VIP lounges, public telephones, workstations and Wi-Fi access free of charge. Inside the nearby Aviators Lodge hotel there are conference rooms.

Food and Drinks- There is a varied selection of coffee shops, fast food outlets, bars and restaurants, most of them on level 2.
Shopping- Duty-free stores are available on levels 1 and 2, in addition to shops selling clothing and accessories, newspapers, magazines, sweets, electronics, surf-related items, books, gifts, regional products, cosmetics.

Terminal Car Park - Multi-storey facility opposite the terminal, with direct connection through a covered bridge on level 2. It has a guidance system to lead you to empty bays, charging stations for electric vehicles and spaces for motorcycles on every level.
Long Term Car Park - Situated 10 minutes away from the main building, with free shuttle service every 20 min. between 4:30 am and 11:20 pm.

Inform your airline or travel agent about your needs at the time of your booking. There are accessible counters, induction loops for the hearing-impaired, people movers to help customers reach their required departure gate, escalators, lifts, moving walkways, designated parking spaces, proper signage, adapted restrooms and telephones, ramps and airbridges.
