Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Being open 24 hours a day, you will be able to spend the night inside Fort Lauderdale airport, staying in the public area of the terminals once the security controls close at night. Keep in mind that the air conditioning is strong and cleaning is carried out at night inside the enclosure, so it is recommended to have something warm and earplugs.
Where to rest: Most seats have armrests, but you may find more comfortable couches in the baggage reclaim areas and in the car rental center. Inside terminals 1 and 2 there are VIP lounges with more amenities, but they close at night. There are no hotels inside the airport, but many accommodations in the vicinity offer complimentary shuttle services.
Baggage: Left luggage service in every terminal, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Eating and drinking: Only in Terminal 4 there is an option open during the night.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, lactation suites.
