Spending the night at the airport

Tucson airport operates with many flights inside the United States and it is frequent to see passengers waiting for their flight. Although the terminal is open around the clock, layover passengers will have to remain in the public area once the security checkpoint closes for the night. It is recommended to have a sleeping bag, blankets, earplugs or headphones, as there are loud announcements throughout the night and the place is usually cold.

Where to rest: Generally, the terminal is a comfortable place to rest, with many padded seats and carpeted floor. You can especially find large benches on the main level. There is a VIP lounge inside the enclosure, but it is only available for the military. Another option is to move to one of the nearby hotels, which operate complimentary shuttles 24 hours a day.

Baggage: There is no left-luggage service, so you will have to keep your baggage with you until checking-in.

Eating and drinking: Shops close at night, but there are vending machines throughout the grounds.

Wi-Fi: It is free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: ATM, lactation suites.
