St. Louis Lambert International Airport, opened on October, 1923, serves the state of Missouri. It operates with domestic destinations and some international flights to Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminals 1 and 2, open 24 hours a day and connected through courtesy shuttles every 8-15 minutes.
Airlines: Terminal 1 (Air Canada, Air Choice One, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Cape Air, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, United Airlines, Xtra Airways); Terminal 2 (Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Xtra Airways).
Annual passenger traffic: More than 13.9 million passengers went through it in 2016.
Tel: +1 314 426 8000. The airport's information booth is located in the baggage reclaim hall of Terminal 1 and operates from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm (Tel +1 314 890 1333). In the luggage recollection area of both terminals there are also tourist information desks, open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Tel +1 800 916 8938 / 314 423 5855).

 

The airport is located 21 km (13 miles) to the northwest of the city centre.

Bus - MetroBus (Tel +1 314 231 2345) operates line 49 to North Hanley and Ballas, also stopping at World Parkway Circle, Lambert Busport, Northwest Plaza Shopping Center and Jewish Community Center. Route 66 runs to Clayton and Village Square Shopping Center, stopping at Lambert Busport and Valley Industries. Tickets cost USD2.00.
There are also services from Greyhound (Tel +1 800 231 2222) to destinations throughout the country. The station is found to the south of Terminal 1 and can be accessed via the airport's free shuttle.
GO BEST Express Airport Shuttle (Tel +1 877 785 4682) offers shared services to downtown St. Louis, Central West End, Clayton, St. Charles and St. Louis and Washington Universities. Vans leave every 30 minutes between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm. Outside these hours they must be booked in advance. Travel time to the city centre is around 50 min.
MOX Airport Shuttle (Tel +1 314 669 4826), USA Tours (Tel +1 573 368 4656) and Bart Shuttle (Tel +1 800 284 2278) offer shared transportation to different destinations in the region.

Train - Metrolink (Tel +1 314 231 2345) serves both terminals (doors 1 and 12) and has a fare of USD2.50. It runs every 10-20 minutes between 4:20 am and 1:00 am (from 5:00 am on the weekends) and stops include North Hanley, Wellston, Forest Park, Central West End, Grand Station, Union Station, East Riverfront, Emerson Park, Washington Park, Fairview Heights, Swansea, Belleville, Shiloh-Scott. The trip to the city centre takes 30 min.

Taxi - Cabs from Metro West Transport (Tel +1 636 272 8294) are available. Ranks are found outside gates 12 and 14. Journey time to downtown St. Louis is 15-20 minutes.

The airport has a bank (Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm), ATMs, VIP lounges and free Wi-Fi access for 20 minutes. Business centers and conference rooms on the upper and ticketing levels of Terminal 1.

Food and Drinks- There are many restaurants, bars, coffee shops and fast food outlets inside both terminals. The Great American Bagel, on the lower level of Terminal 1, is open around the clock.
Shopping- Gift shops, newsagents, sweets, books, accessories, clothing, toys, sport goods.
Baggage- Trolleys available for USD5.00 in the baggage reclaim area and in front of Terminal 1. The police department operates the lost and found service, Mondays through Fridays between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (Tel +1 314 890 1370).
Other Services- Children's play area, art exhibits, chapels, shoeshines, baby changing facilities.

 

There are several options for short- and long-term parking, linked with the terminals through courtesy shuttles that run every 8 minutes, and two free passenger pick-up zones (Cell Phone Lots). More information: Tel +1 314 890 2800. Rates

Inside the enclosure there are special lanes at the security checkpoints, elevators, Braille signage, automatic doors, visual and audible signs, accessible toilets, relief areas for service animals, adapted telephones, reserved parking spaces and transportation systems equipped to carry passengers with reduced mobility. The wheelchair service is provided by the airlines.

 

In the vicinity of the enclosure you can find numerous accommodations, many of which provide free transport to and from the airport. On the lower level of both terminals, near gates 12, 17 and 18, there are courtesy phones to make reservations.
