Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport, opened in 1949, serves Santa Clara County and is one of the three largest in the area of San Francisco Bay, in California. It operates with domestic flights (including Hawaii) and some international destinations in Mexico, Canada, Europe, Japan and China.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminals A and B, open 24 hours a day. They are connected by free shuttles.
Airlines: Terminal A (Aeroméxico, Air Canada, Air China, American Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue, United Airlines, Volaris); Terminal B (Alaska Airlines, British Airways, Hainan Airlines, Lufthansa, Southwest Airlines).
Annual passenger traffic: Around 10.8 million passengers went through it in 2016.
Tel: +1 408 392 3600. Information counters in the baggage reclaim hall of both terminals. They operate Mondays through Saturdays between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm and Sundays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The airport is located 4 km (2.5 miles) to the northwest of downtown San Jose.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (9:00 am to 7:00 pm), mailboxes, VIP lounges, workstations, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access. The Club at SJC lounge is located on the third level of Terminal A, across from gate 15, and opens from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm; it offers computers, refreshments, showers, newspapers and magazines, telephones, Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning, drinks, conference facilities, fax (access with Priority Pass, Lounge Club or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - USD40.00).

Food and Drinks- There are several local and international restaurants, pizza stores, fast food outlets, coffee shops and bars inside both terminals.
Shopping- Duty-free shops between gates 14 and 15, bookstores, newsagents, souvenirs, electronics, accessories, cosmetics, clothing.
Baggage- Luggage cart hire for USD5.00 in the baggage recollection area. Lost and found office between the terminals (Tel +1 408 392 3559), available Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Other Services- Children's playground, massage chairs, nursing rooms, meditation area.

 

There are several car parks for short and long stays, in addition to spaces for motorcycles and bicycles and charging stations for electric vehicles. Over the access roadway there is a free passenger pick-up zone (Cell Phone Waiting Area). More information: Tel +1 408 441 5570. Rates

Economy Lot 1 - For long stays, with complimentary shuttle service every 7-10 minutes.
Hourly Lot 2 & 3 - Covered parking for short stays across from terminals A and B, respectively. Inter-terminal shuttles every 10 min.
Hourly Lot 5 - Short-term area, with buses to Terminal B from 4:30 am to 0:30 am.
Daily Lot 4 & 6 - For long stays. Shuttles to the terminals every 10 min. Located to the south of the car rental center.

 

Accessible taxis and shuttles for passengers with reduced mobility are available. Contact your airline in advance to request special assistance or wheelchairs. Facilities include reserved parking spaces, relief areas for service animals, adapted telephones and restrooms.
