Theodore Francis Green Memorial State Airport, opened on September 27, 1931, serves the state of Rhode Island. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, the Azores and Cape Verde.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Bruce Sundlun Terminal, open 24 hours a day.
Airlines: Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Azores Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue, New England Airlines, Norwegian Air Shuttle, OneJet, Southwest Airlines, TACV Cabo Verde Airlines, United Airlines.
Annual passenger traffic: More than 3.5 million passengers went through it in 2016.

The airport is located in the city of Warwick, 10 km (6 miles) to the south of Providence.

Bus - Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) (Tel +1 401 781 9400 / 800 244 0444) operates several services from opposite the terminal, with a fare of USD2.00. Lines 1 and 20 run to Cranston, Providence and Warwick. Line 14 heads to East Greenwich, Narragansett, Newport, North Kingstown, Providence and Warwick. Route 8 leaves from the InterLink facility, next to the enclosure, and goes to Providence and Warwick. At Kennedy Plaza Station, in the city centre, there are buses to most cities in the state.
On the other hand, Peter Pan Bus Lines (Tel +1 401 751 8800) provides direct services to Providence, Logan Airport and South Station, in Boston, with connections to Barnstable, Bourne, Fall River, Falmouth, Hyannis, Lee, Lenox, New Bedford, Pittsfield, Springfield, Worcester, Hartford, Manchester and Willimantic.
Martha's Vineyard Fast Ferry Shuttle (Tel +1 401 737 2868) connects the airport with Vineyard Fast Ferry, in North Kingstown.

Train - MBTA (Tel +1 800 392 6100) links the airport with Wickford Junction, in South Rhode Island, and downtown Providence, Attleboro, Boston (Back Bay and South Stations), Canton Junction, Mansfield, Sharon and South Attleboro. Tickets to the city centre cost USD3.25 and journey time is approximately 20 minutes.
In the station situated in downtown Providence you can catch trains from Amtrak (Tel +1 800 872 7245) to Boston, Kingston Station, Westerly and several locations in Connecticut.

Taxi - Cabs provided by Airport Taxi & Limousine Service (Tel +1 401 737 2868). The trip to downtown Providence takes around 15 minutes.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureau (5:00 am to 6:00 pm), public telephones and Wi-Fi access free of charge. There is a business center on the upper level that provides meeting rooms. The RIMO Lounge, on the second floor, is available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm for militaries and their families; it offers snacks, telephones, computers, newspapers and magazines, TV, children's area, Wi-Fi.

Food and Drinks- Coffee shop and bar in the public area; restaurants, bars, fast food outlets, cafés and pizza stores after the security checkpoint.
Shopping- Shops are located in the Departures area and include duty-free items across from gate 8, newsgents, bookstores, souvenirs, accessories, jewellery, clothing, electronics.

Other Services- Library, massage chairs, shoeshine, chapel, games room.

 

The enclosure has several options for short- and long-term parking, all with security around the clock. There are also charging stations for electric vehicles and a free passenger pick-up zone (Cell Phone Waiting Lot). More information: Tel +1 401 737 0694. Fees

Garage A - Covered parking next to the main building and connected through a roofed walkway, for long stays.
Garage B - Long-term sector, linked to the terminal and Garage A via a covered walkway. Premium spaces on level 1.
Lot D - Area for short stays directly in front of the terminal.
Lot E - Situated to the south of the terminal, with continuous free shuttle service.

 

Ramps, elevators, adapted restrooms and reserved parking spaces. Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline about their needs at the time of their booking.
