Layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Although Honolulu airport is open 24 hours a day, most of the enclosure closes between 10:00 pm and 5:00 am. To spend the night inside the enclosure you will have to show your boarding pass. It is recommended to have earplugs, an eyemask and something warm for a better rest.
Where to rest: The airport staff will lead you to a designated area on the second level of Terminal 2. Although it is a secure sector, seats have armrests and are not very comfortable. There are several VIP lounges around the enclosure, but these are closed at night. SEE VIP LOUNGES As for hotels, there are several options in the vicinity.
Baggage: Left luggage service in the baggage reclaim hall of Terminal 2.
Eating and drinking: During the night you will only find vending machines.
Restrooms: Showers only inside some of the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
The enclosure does not have accommodations, but there are some hotels in the vicinity, and a greater offer in the city centre.
