Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, opened on May 1, 1929, serves the Miami area and is one of the busiest in the country. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Europe and the Middle East.

Number of Terminals - 4 - Terminal 1 (yellow), 2 (red), 3 (purple) and 4 (green). Open 24 hours a day. A free shuttle service transports passengers between the terminals and the car rental center from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
