Erie International Airport, opened in 1929, serves the state of Pennsylvania and mainly operates with domestic flights.

The airport is located 8 km (5 miles) southwest from Erie's financial center.

Bus - There are services from Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (Tel +1 814 452 3515) that run to and from the airport. Routes 31 and 32 travel to Lincoln Library, Fortis Institute, Yorktown Plaza, West Erie Plaza and Frontier Park. They operate from 6:12 am to 10:05 pm on weekdays, from 6:32 am to 9:38 pm on Saturdays and from 10:15 am to 5:20 pm on Sundays. Tickets cost USD1.55. Timetables and schedules

Taxi - Ranks are found in front of the main terminal entrance. The official operator is Erie Yellow Cab (Tel +1 814 461 8294). The fare to the city centre is approximately USD20.00 and the trip takes 15-20 minutes.

 

There are car rental desks next to the baggage reclaim area.

Food and Drinks- There is a coffee shop and vending machines next to the main lobby.
Shopping- Gift shop opposite the security checkpoint.
Baggage- Free trolleys in front of the information desk. The Public Safety Office (Tel +1 814 833 4258), next to the security checkpoint, will assist you in locating articles left inside the airport.
