John Glenn Columbus International Airport, opened on July 8, 1929, serves the metropolitan area of Columbus and most of the state of Ohio. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in Mexico, Canada and Dominican Republic.

The airport is located 10 km (6 miles) to the east of the business district of Columbus.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureau (Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, weekends from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm), mailboxes, plugs for electronic devices and Wi-Fi access free of charge. In Concouse C there is a business center with fax, photocopying and internet services and conference rooms. The Jake Brewer USO Lounge is located next to the entrance to concourse C and opens Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm and weekends from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; it provides computers, TV, refreshments, drinks, plugs for electric devices (accessible for military and their families).

Food and Drinks- Throughout the enclosure there are several restaurants, bars, coffee shops and fast food outlets.
Shopping- Options include souvenirs, accessories, clothing, sweets, books, sport goods, electronics, jewellery.

There are several parking options. Valet parking service on the ticketing level. There is also a free passenger pick-up zone (Cell Phone Waiting Lot) and bicycle racks. Fees

Garage - Six-storey facility attached to the terminal through walkways. Short-term spaces on level 4 and for long stays on levels 3 to 6.
Walking Lot - Behind the previous facility.
Green, Red & Blue Shuttle Lots - Covered and uncovered bays for long stays. Connected to the main building via a 24-hour shuttle service.
