Mexico City Benito Juárez International Airport, opened on May 15, 1931, is the largest in Mexico and the busiest in Latin America. Not only does it serve the nearest metropolitan area, but most of the country. In addition to domestic flights, it operates with numerous international destinations within America, Europe and the Far East.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminals 1 and 2, open 24 hours a day. There are public shuttles connecting both buildings, situated 3 km (1.8 miles) away from each other. The Aerotrén is a free service that can only be used by connecting passengers, with an electronic booking key, ticket or boarding pass; it operates every 10 minutes from 5:00 am to 1:00 am between gate 6, in Terminal 1, and gate 4, in Terminal 2.
Annual passenger traffic: 44.7 million passengers went through it in 2017.

The airport has banks (Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm), currency exchange bureaus (24 hours a day), ATMs, postal services, VIP lounges, mobile phone, printing and photocopying services, internet kiosks and Wi-Fi access free of charge for 15 minutes. The Hilton and NH hotels situated inside the enclosure provide business and meeting facilities.

Food and Drinks- A wide variety of restaurants, fast food outlets, bars and coffee shops, several of them open 24 hours a day.
Shopping- Options are plentiful, with duty-free shops in both terminals, convenience stores and retailers selling apparel, accessories, footwear, gifts, books, magazines, music, jewellery, alcoholic beverages, cosmetics, perfumes, travel articles, electronics, candy.
Baggage- Secure wrapping in Terminal 1, from 3:00 am to 11:00 pm (Tel +52 55 2643 7981 / 7982 / 5877). Left luggage service 24 hours a day on the ground floor of both buildings (Tel +52 55 5802 8467 / 4313 0259). Lost and found offices on the mezzanine floor of Terminal 1 (Tel +52 55 2482 2289) and on the ground floor of Terminal 2 (Tel +52 55 2598 7169), available from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 9:30 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Metrobus, metro, hotel shuttles and taxis connect the airport with the urban area of ​​Mexico City. There are also buses to neighboring cities.

Taxi - Ticket modules are situated in the Arrivals Halls and the public area and cabs operate around the clock. Journey time to the city centre is 40-60 minutes. Two types of services are available: ordinary (sedan cab for up to 4 passengers) and executive (vans for up to 8 passengers). On the second floor of Terminal 1 there are capsules from izZzleep (Tel +52 55 2599 1434). The Hilton Mexico City Airport (Tel +52 55 5133 0505) is located on level 3 of Terminal 1, while the NH Collection Mexico City Airport T2 (Tel +52 55 5786 5750) is found on floor 6 of Terminal 2. On the other hand, the Courtyard Mexico City Airport (Tel +52 55 4631 4000) and the Camino Real Aeropuerto (Tel +52 55 3003 0033) are connected to Terminal 1 through pedestrian walkways. You can find other alternatives in the surroundings, most of them with desks inside the terminals and shuttle services for their guests. Terminal 1 National Parking - In front of Gates 1 and 2 of the building, in the Domestic Arrivals area. Offers valet parking service.
Terminal 1 International Parking - Situated opposite the International area, next to the bus stop.
Terminal 2 Parking - Located across from the building's entrance.

 
 

There are ramps, elevators, moving walkways, mini-vehicles for the transportation of people with reduced mobility, electric stairs and ramps, adapted telephones and restrooms, Braille signage and reserved parking spaces.
