Los Cabos International Airport, opened in 1997, serves the city of San José del Cabo, in Baja California Sur, Mexico, and it is one of the busiest in the country due to the touristic attraction of the area. In addition to domestic flights, it operates with several international destinations in the United States and Canada.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminal 1 (national and international flights) and Terminal 2 (international flights). The buildings are situated within walking distance of each other. In addition, there is a FBO terminal for private flights.

The airport is located 11 km (7 miles) to the north of San José del Cabo and 48 km (30 miles) northeast from Cabo San Lucas.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (9:00 am to 8:00 pm), VIP lounges and Wi-Fi access free of charge.

Food and Drinks- Terminals 1 and 2 have icecream stores, restaurants, coffee shops, fast food outlets, pizza places and bars.
Shopping- Duty-free shops after the security control in terminals 1 and 2 (gates 8 and 3, respectively). There are also stores selling tobacco, souvenirs, clothing, accessories, books, press, alcoholic beverages and minimarkets.
Baggage- In case of missing luggage, contact the desk of the appropriate airline.
Other Services- Tourism agencies, baby changing facilities, children's playground, medical assistance.

 
 

Bus - Shuttle in Cabo (Tel +52 624 146 5393) has offices open 24 hours a day in the Arrivals Hall of terminals 1 and 2. They provide private or shared transportation to San José del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas and other locations in the area, such as La Paz, Los Barriles, Loreto and Cabo Pulmo. More information

Taxi - Vehicles available outside the Arrivals area of terminals 1 and 2. They operate between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm. Journey time to the city centre is around 20 minutes.
