Layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Spending the night at the airport
Although Ottawa airport is open 24 hours a day, keep in mind that security controls close at night, so if you decide to stay inside the enclosure, you will have to remain in the public area of the terminal. It is a noisy place, so it is recommended to have earplugs or headphones.
Where to rest: You will find comfortable benches landside, next to the terminal windows. In the Departures Hall there are VIP lounges for those passengers that qualify, but these are closed at night. SEE VIP LOUNGES For a longer rest, you can arrange your transfer with one of the hotels in the city. Below you will find a few options.
Baggage: On level 1 there is a left luggage service that operates around the clock.
Eating and drinking: The only option open throughout the night is Tim Hortons, on level 1.
Wi-Fi: Access is free.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing areas, children's playground.
There are some accommodation options nearby, while a greater offer is available in the city centre, some of which provide courtesy transfers for their guests.
