Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport, opened on September 10, 1941, is the main air terminal in Montréal and serves the entire Quebec province. It operates with domestic flights and international destinations in the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East, China and some locations in Central America and South America.

Location

The airport is situated 24 km (15 miles) to the west of Montréal.

Car rental search

Bus - Line 747 from Société de Transport de Montréal (Tel +1 514 786 4636) operates 24 hours a day between the airport and the Berri-UQAM metro station, in the city centre. Journey time is 45-70 minutes. Tickets allow unlimited travels for 24 hours and can be acquired from automatic dispensers at the International Arrivals level. Between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm it also runs to the Lionel-Groulx Station (25-35 min.) In addition, route 204 Cardinal links the enclosure with Dorval Train Station, while bus 209 goes to Roxboro-Pierrefonds Train Station.
Orléans Express (Tel +1 514 395 4000) runs to Trois-Rivières, Ste-Foy and Quebec, while Greyhound (Tel +1 800 661 8747) offers services to Ottawa and Gatineau. Both of them have counters on the International Arrivals level.
Aéronavette (Tel +1 819 820 5858 / 855 628 3883) travels 24 hours a day to Sherbrooke, Magog/Orford, Bromont, Granby, L'Ange-Gardien and Richelieu, with a door-to-door service.
Also, during the winter season there are minibuses from Autocars Skyport (Tel +1 514 631 1155 / 800 471 1155) four times a day that leave from Gate 7 of the International Arrivals level and head for Mont-Tremblant.

Train - A free shuttle bus service is available between the airport and Dorval Train Station. From there you can board Via Rail trains (Tel +1 514 989 2626 / 888 842 7245) with destinations along the Ottawa-Montréal, Toronto-Kingston-Montréal and Quebec-Montréal routes.

Taxi - Ranks are situated on the Arrivals level, near the central exit. Fares to downtown Montréal are fixed, but the meter is used for other destinations. Travel time to the city centre is 25-40 minutes. More information: Tel +1 514 394 7377.

Inside the airport grounds there are several parking lots for long and short stays, the former located farther away. Rates and reservations

Short Term Parking - Located 3-4 minutes away from the terminal, with charging stations for electric vehicles.
Multi-level Parking - Three-storey structure (one level uncovered), 5-6 min. away from the main building.
ValetParc - Immediately across from the terminal, with valet parking service (Tel +1 514 633 3440 / 800 474 3440).
EconoParc P5 - Free 24-hour shuttle service (14 min. journey).
EconoParc - For long stays and with courtesy shuttles (16 min. trip).
AeroParc - With valet parking and free shuttle services (16 min. travel).
HotelParc - Covered and heated parking lot under the Montréal Airport Marriott Hotel, connected to the main building.

 

There are oversized doors, access ramps, elevators, moving sidewalks, accessible counters, adapted telephones and toilets, special lines through the different controls, transportation vehicles, Braille signage, relieving areas for service animals, reserved parking spaces. The public transport companies have adapted vehicles for passengers with special needs. You can request wheelchairs at the information desks on the Departures level.
