Spending the night at the airport
Halifax airport is a modern, safe and quiet place where to spend the night if you have an early flight or if your flight is delayed. After the security checkpoints close for the night, you will have to remain in the landside area of the terminal.
Where to rest: Most seats have armrests, but there are more comfortable benches scattered around the enclosure. Many passengers decide to spend the night inside the airport's chapel or at the observation deck on the second level. On level 1 there is also a VIP lounge for those passengers that qualify. On the other hand, there is a hotel connected to the main building.
Baggage: The security office operates a left-luggage service 24 hours a day so you can forget about your bags until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: Options open throughout the night on the main level.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, nursing room, chapel, children's play areas.
