Salvador - Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport, founded in 1925 and reopened on September 2, 2002, is the busiest in the state of Bahia and northeastern Brazil, and one of the most important in the country. Food and Drinks- There are several restaurants, confectioneries, fast food outlets, icecream stores, cafés, pizza places and bars on both levels of the terminal, some of them open 24 hours a day.
Shopping- A large variety of businesses is available, including duty-free shops in the Domestic Departures Hall, handicrafts, regional goods, clothing and accessories, books and magazines, jewellery, tobacco, sweets, perfumes, cosmetics, music.
Baggage- The lost and found office is located in the Domestic Arrivals Hall and operates Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (Tel +55 71 3204 1760).
