Tucumán airport (TUC)

Teniente General Benjamín Matienzo International Airport, opened on October 12, 1986, is the busiest in the northwest region of Argentina and concentrates the air traffic in Tucumán province. It operates with domestic flights to different destinations in the country and with international flights to some countries in South America.

Public and private transportation

Bus - Line 121 travels from the airport to the city centre, also stopping at Alderete, Avellaneda Avenue, the bus station and Bolívar Street. Buses depart from outside the terminal access gate. More information: Tel +54 381 430 6754 / 6755.

Taxi - Cabs available in front of the terminal building. In the main hall there is a counter where you can request remises (VIP cabs) from Cooperativa Teniente Benjamín Matienzo (Tel +54 381 154 983 578). Travel time to the city centre is around 25 minutes.
