Denver International Airport, opened on February 28, 1995, serves the state of Colorado and is one of the busiest in the country and the world. It operates with domestic and international flights to neighbouring countries, Central America, the Caribbean, European destinations and Japan. The white and irregular shape of its ceiling simulates the snowy Rocky Mountains.
