Liverpool John Lennon Airport, opened on July 1, 1933, is an important airstation in the United Kingdom. It operates with domestic and international flights to destinations in Europe and Morocco.

The airport is located 12 km (7.5 miles) southeast from Liverpool.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (4:30 am to 11:30 pm), internet kiosks and free Wi-Fi access for 30 minutes. Meeting and conference facilities at the nearby Hampton by Hilton hotel. The Aspire Lounge is located on the ground floor of the Departures area and opens from 4:30 am to 8:00 pm; it offers complimentary drinks, cold and hot snacks, newspapers and magazines, Wi-Fi, computers, TV, air conditioning, telephones (access with Priority Pass, Lounge Club, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - £28.00).

Food and Drinks- On both levels there are bars, fast food outlets, restaurants and coffee shops.
Shopping- Duty-free shops available on both floors. There are also retailers selling books, newspapers and magazines, electronics, clothing, gifts, accessories, cosmetics. Convenience store in the Arrivals Hall.

Bus - Several buses from Arriva (Tel +44 344 800 4411) are available. Line 500 is an express service between the enclosure, Liverpool One and Liverpool South Parkway stations that operates from 4:30 am to 6:30 pm. Journey time is around 35 minutes and the fare is £2.20. Route 80A runs to the city centre via Estuary Business Park, Liverpool South Parkway and Allerton; 81A to Speke, Hunts Cross, Woolton, Queens Drive and Bootle Station; 82A to Palacefields, Beechwood, Runcorn, Widnes, Ditton, Hale, Garston, Otterspool and Liverpool One; 86A to Liverpool South Parkway and Liverpool One; 89 to Hunts Cross, Belle Vale, Huyton, Prescot and St. Helens.
Line 3A/3B from Merseytravel (Tel +44 151 330 1000) connects the airport with Speke, Halewood, Belle Vale and Huyton Mondays through Fridays between 4:40 am and 8:30 pm and Saturdays from 7:40 am to 5:40 pm.

Train - Liverpool South Parkway is the closest station and has connections to Cheshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Derbyshire, including the cities of Scarborough, York, Leeds and Manchester. From Liverpool Central Station depart trains to Southport, Hunts Cross, Brunswick, St. Michaels, Aigburth, Cressington and South Parkway. More information: Tel +44 151 236 7676.

Taxi - Ranks are located directly outside the terminal entrance. The trip to downtown Liverpool takes approximately 20 minutes.

Long Stay - Located 4-5 minutes away from the terminal.
Fast Track/Fast Track Family Parking - Exclusive areas with wider spaces, connected to the main building through a covered walkway and with a complimentary pass through the fast lane at the security checkpoint.
Multi-Storey - Facility with several levels and covered bays for short stays, opposite the terminal.
Short Stay - Across from the main building, covered.
Express Drop Off/Drop Off 2 - Passenger pick-up and drop-off zones. The first 40 minutes have no charge.
