Bristol Airport, opened on May 1, 1957, serves the metropolitan area of the city and the southwest region of England. It operates with domestic and international flights to Europe, North America, Africa and the Caribbean.

The airport is located 11 km (7 miles) to the southwest of Bristol.

Bus - The Airport Flyer Express connects the site with Bedminster, Bristol Temple Meads, the bus station, Cleeve, Congresbury, Worle and Weston-super-Mare. It operates every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day. The trip to downtown Bristol takes 25 minutes and the fare is £8.00, while to Weston is £5.00 (35 min.)
National Express (Tel +44 371 781 8181) links the enclosure with Cardiff (£5.00; 1 hour and 25 min.), Newport and the rest of the country 12 times a day.
The Falcon service from Stagecoach (Tel +44 145 241 8630) goes to Plymouth in 2 hours and 45 min., with stops at Taunton and Exeter (£24.00).
Air Decker (Tel +44 122 544 4102) provides transportation every 30 min. from 4:00 am to 0:00 am to Bath via Saltford, Keynsham, Brislington and Bishopsworth. Travel time is 50 min. and costs £14.00.
The A2 service from First Group (Tel +44 345 602 0121) runs to Weston-super-Mare in 55 min. between 8:20 am and 6:45 pm, with intermediate stops in West Wick, Banwell, Winscombe, Sandford, Churchill, Langford and Wrington.

Train - Services from Great Western Railway (Tel +44 345 700 0125) and Virgin Trains (Tel +44 344 556 5650) depart from Bristol Temple Meads Station to different destinations throughout the country, like Bristol Parkway, Bath, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Cornwall, London and Swindon.

Taxi - Ranks are found directly outside the terminal. The official operator is Arrow Cars (Tel +44 127 547 5000), with an office in the Arrivals area. Journey time to the city centre is 20-30 minutes.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (4:00 am to 0:30 am), postbox, VIP lounges, printing services, internet kiosks and free Wi-Fi access for 2 hours. Meeting and conference rooms in the administrative building.

Food and Drinks- Coffee shops in the public area; bar, cafés, restaurants and fast food outlet after the security checkpoint. Caffè Ritazza, in the Arrivals area, opens 24 hours a day.
Shopping- In the Departures Hall there is a duty-free shop. There are also stores selling electronics, accessories, clothing, cosmetics, books, magazines.

Long Stay - Ideal for stays of more than 1 day, with complimentary shuttles.
Multi-Storey - Car park with several levels in front of the terminal.
Premier - Monitored 24 hours a day and available for periods of 1 to 15 days. Situated 150 meters away from the check-in area.
Short Stay - Opposite the main building, for stays of up to 3 days.
Express - Passenger pick-up and drop-off, connected to the terminal through a covered walkway. Valet parking service available.
