Spending the night at the airport
Birmingham airport is open 24 hours a day, but layover passengers will have to remain in the public area once the security checkpoint closes for the night. The terminal is noisy and bright throughout the day and the night, so it is recommended to have a sleeping mask, headphones or earplugs.
Where to rest:
As there are few seats, and those are uncomfortable, it is possible that your best option is to lay on the floor. On the other hand, there are also VIP lounges, although they close at night. SEE VIP LOUNGES
Another alternative is to check-in in one of the hotels located inside the grounds.
Baggage: There is a left-luggage service, but it operates from 4:00 am to 8:00 pm. This means that you will have to keep your bags with you until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: The only option open during the night is the Costa coffee shop, in the Arrivals area.
Restrooms: There are showers in some of the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, convenience store, baby changing rooms, children's play areas.
