Aberdeen International Airport, also known as Dyce Airport and opened on July 28, 1934, operates with domestic and international flights to the main destinations in Europe.

The airport is situated in Dyce, 9 km (5 miles) northwest from Aberdeen, Scotland.

Bus - Different services are available from the enclosure to the city centre (30 minutes trip) and other destinations, with stops directly outside the terminal. Jet Service 727 from Stagecoach Bluebird (Tel +44 122 459 1381) travels to Aberdeen bus station from 4:30 am to 0:00 am Mondays through Saturdays and from 5:30 am to 11:00 pm on Sundays. The fare is £2.90. Bus 80 Jet Connect connects the enclosure with Dyce train station (10 min.), the heliport, and the industrial states of Kirkhill and Pitmedden. It operates on weekdays between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm. Tickets have a cost of £1.50. Line 747 travels on weekdays from Peterhead to Dyce, via the airport, Stirling Village, Longhaven, Foveran and Oldmeldrum Square. First Bus (Tel +44 122 465 0000) provides transportation from Monday to Friday to Guild Street bus station (line 27; 50 min.; £1.40), with stops at Bucksburn, Woodhill House West and Holburn Junction.

Train - The closest station is located in Dyce, accessed through bus 80. Services depart from there to Aberdeen (10 minutes journey), Elgin, Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh. A single ticket has a cost of £2.20. More information: Tel +44 871 200 2233.

Taxi - ComCab (Tel +44 122 477 5555) has metered vehicles in front of the terminal and an office next to the main entrance. The trip to the city centre takes approximately 25 minutes (fare - £15.00), while to Dyce train station takes 5-10 min. (£6.00-7.00).

Avis (Tel +44 344 544 6010), Enterprise/National (Tel +44 122 477 4466), Europcar (Tel +44 371 384 0295) and Hertz (Tel +44 843 309 3001) have offices in a separate building, connected to the terminal through a covered walkway.


The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, VIP lounges, charging stations, public telephones, internet kiosks and Wi-Fi access free of charge.

Food and Drinks- Bar, coffee shop and restaurant in the public area, bar and café in the Departures area.
Shopping- Duty-free shop after the security checkpoint, in addition to stores selling electronics, books, toys, beverages, sweets.
Baggage- Trolleys available throughout the terminal. Left luggage service 24 hours a day and lost and found office in the check-in area (Tel +44 122 472 5767).
Other Services- Baby changing rooms, children's play areas, first aid, smoking lounge, massage chairs, pharmacy, art gallery.


There are several secure parking options within the grounds. Rates and reservations

Long Stay - Complimentary shuttles to the terminal from 4:00 am until the last flight. The first 15 minutes have no charge.
Short Stay - Multi-storey facility in front of the main building.
Priority Parking - Covered car park next to the terminal, with wider spaces.
Offshore Parking - Exclusive area for workers from Bristows and Broomfield.


Facilities include automatic doors, access ramps, elevators, induction loops for the hearing-impaired, tactile signage, accessible toilets, wheelchairs, reserved spaces at the car parks and an ambulift to board the plane.
