Aberdeen International Airport, also known as Dyce Airport and opened on July 28, 1934, operates with domestic and international flights to the main destinations in Europe.

The airport is situated in Dyce, 9 km (5 miles) northwest from Aberdeen, Scotland.

Bus - Different services are available from the enclosure to the city centre (30 minutes trip) and other destinations, with stops directly outside the terminal. Jet Service 727 from Stagecoach Bluebird (Tel +44 122 459 1381) travels to Aberdeen Union Square bus station from 3:30 am to 0:00 am Mondays through Saturdays and from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm on Sundays. The fare is £3.20. Line 747 travels on weekdays from Peterhead to Dyce, via the airport, Stirling Village, Longhaven, Foveran and Oldmeldrum Square.
First Bus (Tel +44 122 465 0000) operates line 16 every 15-30 min. to Guild Street station (50 min.; £1.50), with stops at Dyce, Howes Road, Bon Accord Centre, Union Square and Faulds Gate.

Train - The closest station is located in Dyce. Services depart from there to Aberdeen (10 minutes journey), Elgin, Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh. A single ticket has a cost of £2.50. More information: Tel +44 871 200 2233.

Taxi - Comcab (Tel +44 122 435 3535 / 477 5555) has metered vehicles in front of the terminal and an office next to the main entrance. The trip to the city centre takes approximately 25 minutes (fare - £15.00), while to Dyce train station takes 5-10 min. (£6.00-7.00).

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureau (4:30 am to 10:30 pm, Saturdays until 7:00 pm), VIP lounges, charging stations, public telephones, internet kiosks and Wi-Fi access free of charge.

Food and Drinks- Bar, coffee shop and restaurant in the public area, bar and café in the Departures area.
Shopping- Duty-free shop after the security checkpoint, in addition to stores selling electronics, books, press, beverages, sweets.
Baggage- Free trolleys available throughout the terminal. Left luggage service 24 hours a day and lost and found office in the check-in area (Tel +44 208 770 7000).
Other Services- Baby changing rooms, children's play area, smoking lounge, pharmacy, art gallery.

Long Stay - Complimentary shuttles to the terminal. The first 15 minutes have no charge.
Short Stay - Multi-storey facility in front of the main building.
Priority Parking - Covered car park next to the terminal, with wider spaces.
Offshore Parking - Exclusive area for workers from Bristows.

 

Facilities include automatic doors, access ramps, elevators, induction loops for the hearing-impaired, tactile signage, accessible toilets, wheelchairs, reserved spaces at the car parks and an ambulift to board the plane.
