Bern-Belp Airport, opened on June 8, 1929, is one of the busiest in Switzerland. It operates with several international destinations within Europe.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open Mondays through Fridays between 7:00 am and 8:00 pm, Saturdays from 7:00 am until sunset and Sundays from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

The airport is located in the city of Belp, 10 km (6 miles) southeast from Bern.

Bus - Route 160 from Bernmobil (Tel +41 313 218 844) goes to Belp, Rubigen, Münsingen and Konolfingen from 5:48 am to 11:18 pm. Tickets can be acquired on the bus, at vending machines located at the stops or at the ticket desk inside the terminal.
In addition, Idriveforyou.ch (Tel +41 794 424 700) offers transfers during the winter season to the ski stations in Spiez, Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen, departing on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 4:15 pm.

Train - The closest station is located in Belp, where you can board services to Bern, Biel, Burgdorf, Fribourg and Thun.

Taxi - Cabs available outside the Arrivals Hall. The trip to downtown Bern takes about 20 minutes.

The airport has ATMs and Wi-Fi access free of charge. The Airport Hotel, situated nearby, provides meeting facilities. The Skylounge is located in the main Departures Hall, on the first floor, and is available from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm only for Schengen flights; it provides drinks, snacks, newspapers and magazines, Wi-Fi, air conditioning (accessible with Priority Pass membership, through online booking or by paying at the door).
