Tenerife North Airport, also known as Los Rodeos Airport and opened on May 3, 1946, concentrates most of the air traffic in the Canary Islands, together with Tenerife South Airport. It mostly operates with national flights and some international destinations in Europe and Africa.

The airport is situated 11 km (7.5 miles) west from Santa Cruz, in the town of San Cristóbal de la Laguna.

The airport has a bank (8:15 am to 2:00 pm), ATMs, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access. In addition, there is a business center near the terminal. The Sala VIP Nivaria lounge, situated on the mezzanine floor of the Departures area, opens from 6:15 am to 10:30 pm, with a maximum stay of 4 hours; it provides air conditioning, catering, press, TV, Wi-Fi, children's area, conference facilities (accessible with Priority Pass or DragonPass membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €25.40).

Food and Drinks- Coffee shops on both levels, restaurant and fast food outlet on the first floor.
Shopping- Duty-free shops are available in the passengers-only area of levels 0 and 1, plus a multi-store and retailers selling clothing and accessories, newspapers and magazines, gifts.
Baggage- Lost and found office in the Arrivals Hall of the ground floor.
Other Services- Travel agency, pharmacy, lottery.


Bus - There are several services from TITSA (Tel +34 922 531 300). Line 102 connects the airport with Santa Cruz (fare - €2.65), Puerto de la Cruz (€4.75) and La Laguna (€2.45), via Chamberí, El Peñón, El Canario, El Durazno, La Paz and Tucán. It leaves every 30 minutes from outside the Arrivals area between 5:00 am and 10:30 pm. Route 104 also travels to Taroconte for €2.45. Line 107 goes to Santa Cruz and different important locations in the island, such as La Laguna, La Orotava (€3.80), Icod de los Vinos (€7.95), Garachico (€8.65) and Buenavista (€9.80). It departs several times a day only Mondays through Fridays. Route 108 travels to Santa Cruz, La Laguna, La Orotava, Las Arenas, San Juan de la Rambla (€6.80) and Icod de los Vinos. Service 343 links Tenerife North and Tenerife South airports in 50 minutes, with no intermediate stops and a cost of €9.70, between 6:49 am and 9:43 pm. It also runs to Puerto de la Cruz and Los Cristianos, in Costa Adeje (€12.40). Timetables and routes

Taxi - Ranks are found opposite the Arrivals Hall. Avoid drivers offering their services outside this spot. Fares are higher during the night (from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am) and on Sundays. The official operator is Radio Taxi Laguna (Tel +34 922 255 010). The trip to downtown Santa Cruz has a fare of €18.00 and it takes around 25 minutes.

The airport's parking lot provides spaces for short and long stays and is located a few meters away from the terminal building, which can be accessed in 2 minutes. Fees and reservations


There are lifts, ramps, adapted toilets and telephones, and escort services for children travelling alone. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline prior to their arrival at the airport.
