Tenerife North Airport, also known as Los Rodeos Airport and opened on May 3, 1946, concentrates most of the air traffic in the Canary Islands, together with Tenerife South Airport. It mostly operates with national flights and some international destinations in Europe, Morocco and Venezuela.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm in the winter and from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm in the summer.

The airport is situated 11 km (7.5 miles) west from Santa Cruz, in the town of San Cristóbal de la Laguna.

The airport has a bank (8:15 am to 2:00 pm), ATMs, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access. In addition, there is a business center near the terminal. The Sala VIP Nivaria lounge, situated on the mezzanine floor of the Departures area, opens from 6:15 am to 10:30 pm, with a maximum stay of 4 hours; it provides air conditioning, catering, press, TV, Wi-Fi, children's area, conference facilities (accessible with Priority Pass, Lounge Club, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €29.85).

Food and Drinks- Coffee shops on both levels, restaurant and fast food outlet on the first floor.
Shopping- Duty-free shops are available in the passengers-only area of levels 0 and 1, plus a multi-store and retailers selling clothing and accessories, newspapers and magazines, gifts.
Baggage- Secure luggage wrapping in the check-in area. Lost and found office in the Arrivals Hall of the ground floor (e-mail: [email protected]).

Bus - There are several services from TITSA (Tel +34 922 531 300).
20 - Connects the airport with Santa Cruz (€2.65) and La Laguna (€2.45). It leaves every 30 minutes from outside the Arrivals area between 5:30 am and 0:45 am.
30 - To Puerto de la Cruz, also stopping at Tacoronte, El Peñón, La Matanza, La Victoria and La Quinta.
104 - Travels to La Laguna, Santa Cruz, Taroconte (€2.45) and Puerto de la Cruz (€4.75).
343 - Links Tenerife North and Tenerife South airports in 50 minutes, with no intermediate stops and a cost of €9.70, between 6:30 am and 9:43 pm. It also runs to Puerto de la Cruz and Los Cristianos, in Costa Adeje (€12.40).
Timetables and routes

Taxi - Ranks are found opposite the Arrivals Hall. Avoid drivers offering their services outside this spot. Fares are higher during the night (from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am) and on Sundays. Official operators are Fono Taxi (Tel +34 971 728 081), Radio Taxi (Tel +34 971 755 440 / 764 545), Taxi Palma (Tel +34 971 401 414) and Tele Taxi (Tel +34 971 200 900). The trip to downtown Santa Cruz takes around 25 minutes.

 

The airport's parking lot provides spaces for short and long stays and is located a few meters away from the terminal building, which can be accessed in 2 minutes. Fees and reservations

 

There are lifts, ramps, adapted toilets and telephones, and escort services for children travelling alone. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline prior to their arrival at the airport.
