Menorca Airport, opened on March 24, 1969, serves the island of the same name and is an important airstation, not only for the Balearic Islands, but also for Spain. It operates with regular domestic flights and seasonal international destinations within Europe.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Airlines: Air Europa, Air Nostrum, Vueling.
Annual passenger traffic: About 3.2 million passengers went through it during 2016.

The airport is situated 4 km (2.2 miles) southwest from the city of Mahón.

The airport has an ATM, meeting and conference room, public telephones and Wi-Fi access free of charge.

Food and Drinks- Cafés, restaurants and fast food outlets on the three levels.
Shopping- Duty-free items in the Departures area of level 2, multi-stores, souvenirs, regional food, clothing and accessories, books, newspapers and magazines.
Baggage- The lost and found office is situated in the Arrivals Hall of the ground floor (Tel +34 971 157 108).
Other Services- Children's play areas, baby chaging room, travel agencies, pharmacy.

 
 

Bus - Line 10 from Autocares Torres (Tel +34 902 075 066) connects the airport with the bus station in Mahón, the capital of the island. It leaves every 30 minutes from outside the Arrivals Hall and the fare is €2.65. It operates from 5:55 am to 11:25 pm (10:15 pm from October 1st to May 30th). Taxi - Ranks are found outside the Arrivals area. Avoid drivers offering their services outside this point. Fares to the city centre are around €10.00-13.00 and journey time is around 10 minutes. The enclosure has an area for long stays and another for short- and medium-term parking, both with security staff. Open from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm. Rates and reservations

P1 - Covered spaces in front of the terminal, ideal for periods of up to 4 days or to pick-up or drop-off passengers.
P2 - Three-storey facility for long stays in the proximity of the main building.
Parking express - Very close to the terminal. The first 15 minutes have no charge.

 
 

Facilities include access ramps, elevators, reserved parking spaces close to the terminal and adapted restrooms, in addition to escort services for children travelling alone. Passengers requiring special assistance are advised to arrange the proper services with their airline prior to their arrival.
