Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport, opened on June 15, 1972, is an important airstation in Andalusia, Spain. It operates with some national and international destinations within Europe.

The airport is located 17 km (10.5 miles) to the west of the city of Granada and 106 km (62.5 miles) south from Jaén.

Bus - Consorcio de Transporte Metropolitano (Tel +34 955 038 665) operates line 245 between the airport and downtown Granada from 6:00 am to 11:30 pm, with intermediate stops at Paseo del Violón, next to the Congress Palace, Gran Vía de Colón, Andalucía Av., the bus station and Plaza de Europa. The entire journey takes approximately 45 minutes and tickets have a cost of €2.90. Buses leave from in front of the terminal after the arrival of every flight. More information

Taxi - Cabs from Taxis Aeropuerto Granada-Jaén (Tel +34 622 354 756) are available outside the terminal building. Trips during night hours (from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am), on the weekends and holidays have a higher cost. The journey to Granada city centre has a fare of €27.00-29.00 and takes around 30 minutes.

The airport has ATMs, mailbox, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access. Meeting rooms are available in the Departures area.

Food and Drinks- There is a coffee shop and a bar in the Departures Hall.
Shopping- Duty-free store in the boarding zone.
Baggage- The lost and found office is situated in the Arrivals Hall (Tel +34 958 245 249).
Other Services- Children's playground, first aid clinic, travel agency.

 

A few meters away from the terminal there is a parking lot with covered spaces, for short and long stays, and security staff. Rates and reservations

 

There are ramps, elevators, adapted toilets and designated parking spaces. Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline about their needs in advance. An escort service is offered for children between 5 and 12 years old travelling alone.

 

No hotels are found inside the enclosure, but there are several options nearby.
