El Hierro Airport, opened on December 11, 1972, serves the island of the same name, situated in the Canary Islands. It operates with flights to and from Gran Canaria and Tenerife Norte.

There are car rental counters from CICAR (Tel +34 922 551 539 - 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm) and Plus Car (Tel +34 922 550 076 - according to flight schedules) on the ground floor of the terminal.
The airport has an ATM and free Wi-Fi access.
Food and Drinks- In the Arrivals Hall there is a coffee shop.
Shopping- There is a multi-store in the Departures area with perfumes, cosmetics, sweets, jewellery, apparel, tobacco, liquor.
Baggage- The lost and found office is situated in the check-in area, on the ground floor (Tel +34 922 553 718).

Bus - Line 6 from TransHierro (Tel +34 922 551 175) links the airport with Valverde, going through La Caleta and Tamaduste. Tickets have a cost of €1.14 and buses leave from the access roundabout to the terminal building at 9:00 am, 11:30 am, 3:15 pm, 4:30 pm and 5:45 pm. Taxi - Ranks are located in front of the passenger terminal. Avoid drivers offering their services outside this point. The minimum fare during the day is €3.15 and €3.45 on Sundays and holidays and at nighttime (10:00 pm to 6:00 am). The trip to the city centre takes around 10 minutes.

The parking lot is free and is situated a few meters away from the terminal building, which can be accessed in a couple of minutes.
Reserved parking spaces. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to arrange the proper services with their airline or travel agency at the moment of their reservation or at least 48 hours prior to their arrival. Unaccompanied minors between 5 and 12 years old will be escorted by the airline crew from check-in until their destination.
