Asturias Airport, opened on June 11, 1968, serves the cities of Oviedo, Gijón and Avilés. It operates with domestic flights and some international destinations within Europe.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open from 7:00 am to 2:00 am between May and October, and from 7:30 am to 11:45 pm the rest of the year.
Airlines: Air Europa, Air Nostrum, EasyJet, Evelop Airlines, Iberia, Iberia Express, TAP Air Portugal, Volotea, Vueling.
Annual passenger traffic:  1.4 million passengers went through it during 2017.

  Location

The airport is found 14 km (9 miles) to the west of Avilés, 40 km (25 miles) west from Gijón and 47 km (29 miles) northwest from Oviedo.

The airport has ATMs and Wi-Fi access free of charge.

Food and Drinks- Restaurants and coffee shops on both levels.
Shopping- Duty-free articles on the first level, convenience stores and sport goods on the lower floor.
Baggage- Secure luggage wrapping and lost and found office in the check-in hall.

Bus - Alsa (Tel +34 902 422 242) covers the route between the airport and the cities of Avilés, Gijón and Oviedo, with stops at Piedras Blancas and Salinas. Buses leave every hour from in front of the Arrivals Hall between 7:00 am and 11:20 pm. Further information

The enclosure has a car park for both short and long stays located opposite the terminal building. Most bays are covered. Payment can be made at the parking lot itself or in the Arrivals Hall. Fees

 
 

There are ramps and adapted restrooms. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should arrange the proper services with their airline or travel agency at least 48 hours in advance. Unaccompanied children between 5 and 12 years old will be escorted by airline staff from the check-in process.
