Almería Airport, opened on February 6, 1968, is an important air terminal in Andalucía and serves the tourist area of El Ejido, Mojácar, Almerimar, Roquetas de Mar and Vera. It operates with domestic and international flights to some important destinations in Europe.

Number of Terminals - 1 - Open from 6:10 am to 9:45 pm during the winter and from 5:10 am to 8:45 pm in the summer.

The airport is located 9 km (6 miles) to the east of the city of Almería.

The airport has ATMs, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access.

Food and Drinks- In the Departures Hall there is a coffee shop, a restaurant and a fast food outlet.
Shopping- Duty-free shop in the Departures area, in addition to a multifunctional space with press, accessories, electronics, gifts, regional products.
Baggage- The lost and found office is handled by the airport services agent, situated in the Arrivals Hall.
Other Services- Pharmacy, travel agencies.

 
 

Bus - Line 30 from Surbus (Tel +34 950 170 050) travels between the airport and the city centre from 7:15 am to 11:20 pm, with a frequency of approximately 30 minutes. Journey time is 35 min. Services depart from in front of the terminal and tickets have a cost of €1.05. Taxi - Outside the Arrivals area there are cabs from Radio-Taxi Almería (Tel +34 950 222 222 / 226 161) and Tele-Taxi Almería (Tel +34 950 251 111). Extra charges are applied for travelling at night (between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am), on weekends and on holidays. The minimum fare from the airport is €11.93 and the trip to the city centre takes around 15 minutes.

Opposite the terminal building there is a fenced parking area with covered spaces and security staff, for short- and long-term stays. Fees and reservations

 
 

Access ramps and adapted restrooms are available. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline about their particular needs at least 48 hours before their arrival. Children travelling alone will be escorted from the check-in process until their arrival at their destination.
