Portorož Airport, opened on September 27, 1962, is the third busiest in Slovenia. It serves the city of Portorož and other tourist destinations in the region. Currently, it does not operate with regular flights.

Location

The airport is located 6 km (4 miles) to the south of the city of Portorož.

There is a counter from Sixt (Tel +386 5674 4024) in the Arrivals Hall of the terminal. Open Mondays through Fridays between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm and weekends from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Taxi - Vehicles from Taxi Portorož (Tel +386 4045 8988) available outside the terminal. Journey time to the city centre is 10 minutes.

 

In front of the terminal building there is a free parking lot.

 

Reserved parking spaces available. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to arrange the proper services with their airline or travel agency prior to their arrival.
