Kosice International Airport, opened on May 5, 1924, is the second busiest in the country. It operates with domestic and international flights to destinations in Europe and the Middle East.

The Airport Lounge is located on the first floor, behind the security control, and opens from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm; it provides refreshments and drinks, international press, Wi-Fi, computers, TV, air conditioning, telephones, conference facilities (access with Priority Pass or Diners Club membership, business class passengers, or by paying at the door - €19.00).

Food and Drinks- There are two restaurants and a coffee shop (open 24 hours a day) before the security checkpoint and two bars in the Departures area.
Shopping- In the Departures Hall there are duty-free shops and souvenir stands.
Baggage- Lost and found office in the Arrivals Hall, from 6:30 am to 9:30 am and from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm (Tel +421 556 832 360 / 918 111 750).
Other Services-


Bus - Line 23 runs regularly from the airport to the city's train station, with a journey time of around 20 minutes. It departs Mondays through Fridays between 5:10 am and 10:10 pm and weekends from 6:20 am to 10:20 pm. Tickets have a cost of €0.60 and intermediate stops include Moldavská, Krajský Súd, Dom Umenia and Senný trh. More information

Taxi - The official operator at the enclosure is CTC Taxi (Tel +421 905 955 955). The fare to the city centre is approximately €10.00 and the trip takes about 10 minutes.


There are different areas for short- and long-term parking. Payment can be made at automatic machines next to the entrance to P2 and in front of the Arrivals sector. Fees

P1, P2 - Short-term lots situated opposite the terminal building. In P2 the first 10 minutes are free.
P3 - Car park for long stays (minimum of 8 hours).
