Volgograd International Airport, opened in 1952 and also known as Gumrak Airport, serves the city of Volgograd. It operates with domestic flights and some international destinations in Europe and the Middle East. As it will be one of the seats for the 2018 World Cup, it is currently being remodelled.

Avis (Tel +7 927 255 1551) operates a car rental desk in the baggage reclaim area. Open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Bus - Line 6E connects the airport with Volgograd central train station, with a frequency of 15 minutes. Route 6K runs to the Dzerzhinskiy District and the Technological College every 10 min. Minibus 6 heads for Tulaka and the Sovetskiy District.
Taxi - Cabs from Taxi Bonjour (Tel +7 844 241 1111 / 8 800 200 6363) available outside the terminal. The trip to the city centre takes 25 minutes.
