Iasi International Airport, opened on June 24, 1926, is the most important in the Moldavia region. It operates with domestic flights and some international destinations within Europe and the Middle East.

The airport is located 6 km (4 miles) northeast from the city of Iasi.

Bus - Line 50 from RATP Iasi (Tel +40 232 267 772) connects the enclosure with the city centre (Piata Eminescu) in about 30 minutes, stopping at Targu Cucu, Piata Independentei and Piata Unirii. It operates from 9:45 am to 11:05 pm (Thursdays and Sundays from 6:35 am to 9:10 pm). Schedules and fares

Taxi - Vehicles are available outside terminals 2 and 3. The trip to downtown Iasi takes around 15 minutes.

Food and Drinks- There are coffee shops in terminals 2 and 3.
Shopping- Duty-free goods in the Departures lounge of Terminal 3.
Baggage- Enquiries about lost property should be directed to the counter of the appropriate airline.
Other Services- Baby changing rooms.

 

The enclosure has an outdoor car park with surveillance cameras. Payment is made at an automatic machine situated inside Terminal 2. Prices

 

Disabled persons and passengers with reduced mobility should inform their airline about their needs at the time of booking in order to receive additional assistance if they should require it. There are designated parking spaces, adapted restrooms and automatic doors.
