Dublin airport (DUB)

Dublin Airport, opened on January 19, 1940, is the busiest in Ireland and serves as the operation hub for Ryanair, the most important airline for low-cost flights in the continent. It operates with destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and North America.

Number of Terminals - 2 - Terminals 1 and 2, open 24 hours a day and connected through a covered walkway.
Annual passenger traffic: More than 29.5 million passengers went through it during 2017.

The airport is located 10 km (6 miles) north from Dublin.

Bus - There are numerous daily services from the enclosure to different destinations inside and around Dublin and several cities across the country. Journey time to the city centre is around 30 minutes.

Taxi - Ranks are situated directly opposite the exit from both terminals and a dispatcher is available. The trip to downtown Dublin takes 25-45 minutes, depending on traffic.


You can find car rental offices in the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 1 and the multi-storey car park of Terminal 2.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureaus (4:00 am to 0:00 am), VIP lounges, internet kiosks and Wi-Fi access free of charge.

Food and Drinks- Inside both terminals there are bars, cafés, fast food outlets and restaurants. AMT Coffee, McDonald's and Wrights of Howth, in Terminal 1, are open 24 hours a day.
Shopping- Most options are found in the area known as The Loop, inside Terminal 1, and include stores selling souvenirs, fragrances, cosmetics, alcoholic beverages, clothing and accessories, electronics, confectioneries. Convenience store on the Arrivals level of Terminal 2.
Baggage- Luggage trolleys available for free throughout the enclosure. Baggage storage in the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 1, from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm (Tel +353 872 163 202). The lost and found office is handled by the airport police, on the Arrivals level of Terminal 1, available from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm (Tel +353 1814 5555).

Facilities include lifts, proper signage, adapted restrooms, induction loops for the hearing-impaired, help points scattered throughout the terminals and designated parking spaces.
