Bergen Airport, opened on October 2, 1955, is the second busiest in the country. It operates with domestic and international flights within Europe.

Location

The airport is situated in the village of Flesland, 19 km (13 miles) to the southwest of the city of Bergen.

The airport has ATMs and free Wi-Fi access for 2 hours. The Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport, situated 2 minutes away from the terminal, has conference and meeting facilities.

Food and Drinks- Restaurant and coffee shop before the security checkpoint; restaurants, coffee shop and bars in the domestic area; restaurants in the international sector.
Shopping- Duty-free shop in the international area. There are also stores selling sweets, books, fashion and accessories, newspapers and magazines.
Baggage- Enquiries about lost property should be directed to the service center, in the Arrivals Hall (Tel +47 6703 1555), Mondays through Fridays between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm.
Other Services- Children's play area, baby changing facilities.

 

Bus - The Flybussen service (Tel +47 5505) runs to the city centre and the bus station through different routes, with stops at Møllendalsveien, Haukeland, Kokstadskiftet, Håvardstun, Rådal, Lagunen, Grønnestølsbakken, Sandeide, Fyllingsdalen, Skarphaugen, Oasen, Nebbeveien, Gyldenpris, Åsane. Journey time to downtown Bergen is around 20 minutes. Departures every 10 min.
Line 23 from Skyss (Tel +47 5555 9070) travels from Monday to Friday to Dolvik, Loddefjord, Storavatnet and Straume (50 min. trip) and operates from 7:05 am to 6:05 pm. On the other hand, route 1 connects the enclosure with Flesland Pier and Birkelandsskiftet train station from 6:30 am to 11:50 pm, with a journey time of 7 min. There are also services to Hurtigruten Pier.

Train - Skyss (Tel +47 5555 9070) operates a service from outside the terminal to Byparken, in the city centre, via Sandslivegen, Lagunen, Mårdalen, Nesttun, Sletten and Danmarks Plass. Tickets can be acquired inside the baggage reclaim area.

Taxi - Ranks are located next to the main entrance of the terminal. The trip to the city centre takes approximately 20 minutes. P0 & P1 - Covered areas for short stays next to the terminal.
P2 - Roofed car park for long stays, in front of the main building.
P4, P5, P6, P7, P8, P9, P11 - Outdoor, long-term lots.

 

Reserved parking spaces, elevators and adapted toilets are available. Request assistance from your airline or travel agency at the moment of your booking or at least 48 hours before your arrival.
