Turin airport (TRN)

Turin-Caselle Airport, also known as Sandro Pertini Airport and opened on July 30, 1953, is the largest in the Piedmont region. It operates with domestic and international flights to the main destinations in Europe and Morocco.

The airport is located 16 km (10 miles) to the north of the city.

Bus - The SADEM service (Tel +39 113 000 611) connects the airport with Turin city centre, with intermediate stops at the railway stations of Porta Nuova and Porta Susa and the cities of Borgaro and Caselle. The fare is €7.50 and the trip takes 45-50 minutes. It operates between 6:10 am and 0:30 am. The Porta Nuova and Porta Susa stations are linked to Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx, Cesana, Sansicario, Claviere, Bardonecchia, Pragelato, Pinerolo, Limone Piemonte and the French ski resorts of Montgenevre and Briançon/Serre Chevalier. Tickets can be acquired at the Arrivals Hall of the terminal.
Cavourese (Tel +39 113 970 000) provides transportation to the ski resorts of Oulx, Bardonecchia, Cesana, Sestriere and Pragelato. It leaves on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm and has a cost of €34.00.
On the other hand, the Linkbus (Tel +33 492 204 750) is a regular line to the Cesana, Claviere, Montgenèvre, Vallée de la Clarée, Briançon, Serre Chevalier and Puy Saint Vincent ski stations, operating on Saturdays and Sundays during the winter. Tickets from €25.00.

Train - GTT (Tel +39 110 672 000 / 800 019 152) operates services from the enclosure to Dora Station, with a travel time of 19 minutes and a fare of €3.00. It departs from Monday to Saturday between 4:50 am and 7:50 pm and on Sundays from 8:20 am to 8:20 pm.

Taxi - Ranks are found outside the Arrivals level. The fare to the city centre is €30.00-50.00 and the trip takes approximately 30 minutes. The official operator is Taxi Torino (Tel +39 115 730 / 737).

The airport has a bank (Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:45 pm to 5:00 pm), ATMs, currency exchange bureau (7:15 am to 7:45 pm) and Wi-Fi access free of charge. The Piemonte Lounge is located on the upper level of the boarding area and opens from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm; it offers air conditioning, newspapers and magazines, refreshments, drinks, TV, Wi-Fi (accessible with Priority Pass, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €25.00).

Food and Drinks- Coffee shops, bars and restaurants in the Arrivals area; bars, icecream store and restaurants on the Departures level. Vending machines in all public areas.
Shopping- Duty-free items after the security checkpoint, supermarket in the Arrivals Hall, stores selling clothing, books, accessories, newspapers and magazines, electronics, tobacco, gifts, sweets, jewellery.
Baggage- Free luggage trolleys. Secure wrapping in the Departures area. The lost and found office is situated next to the baggage reclaim area. It operates from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm (Tel +39 115 676 478).
Other Services- Children's play area, baby changing facilities, pharmacy, prayer rooms, library, museum, travel agency.


There are different car parks inside the grounds and covered spaces for motorcycles. Payment stations are situated on the ground floor of the multi-storey garage. Rates and reservations

Multipiano - Multi-storey facility with covered and outdoor spaces directly in front of the terminal.
Kiss&Ride - For short stays, on the ground floor of the previous lot. The first 10 minutes have no charge.
Bye&Fly - Outdoor area on the Departures level, with 10 min. of complimentary parking.
Online Low Cost - Situated next to the airport entrance, uncovered.
Sosta Lunga - Outdoor lot for long stays 3 min. away from the main building.


Facilities include elevators, adapted restrooms, tactile pathways for the visually-impaired, ramps, automatic doors, a special waiting room and reserved bays in the multi-storey car park. There is also an ambulift to facilitate access to the airplane. Passengers requiring special assistance should get in touch with their airline at least 48 hours before their flight.
