Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, opened in 1969, is one of the air terminals serving the island of Sardinia, in Italy. It operates with some domestic destinations and international flights to several important destinations in Europe.

The airport has ATMs, currency exchange bureau (6:00 am to 10:00 pm, only during the summer), mobile charging stations and Wi-Fi access free of charge. On the first floor of the terminal there is a business center with meeting rooms. The Club Lounge is found by gate 1 and opens between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm from April to October; it offers air conditioning, TV, snacks, beverages, newspapers and magazines, Wi-Fi (access with Priority Pass or Diners Club membership, through online booking or by paying at the door - €25.00).

Food and Drinks- Restaurants, bars, pizza stores and coffee shops both before and after the security checkpoint.
Shopping- Options include regional products, clothing, accessories, music, books, newsagents, handicrafts.
Baggage- Trolleys available at the car parks and the Arrivals area. Secure wrapping next to the terminal entrance, in the check-in area, from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm (until 8:00 pm during the winter). Left luggage services in the Arrivals Hall, from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm (Tel +39 789 563 444). Lost and found office in the baggage reclaim area, from 8:00 am until the last flight (Tel +39 789 563 456).

Bus - Lines 2 (Sacra Famiglia, Porto Rotondo, Sa Minda Noa) and 10 (Centro Martini, Sacra Famiglia, Piazza Regina Margherita) from ASPO (Tel +39 800 191 847) connect the airport with the city centre every 20 minutes, from 6:15 am to 11:40 pm. The trip takes 15-20 min. and has a fare of €1.50. The stops are found 50 meters away from the Arrivals Hall.
Turmo Travel (Tel +39 7892 1487) provides transportation to Piazza Matteotti, in Cagliari, every day at 3:25 pm, with a journey time of 4 hours and 40 min. Intermediate stops include Siniscola, Nuoro, Ottana, Abbasanta, Tramatza and Oristano. There are also services to Santa Teresa di Gallura at 10:40 am (1 hour and 25 min. trip) via Arzachena, Palau, Porto Pozzo and Isola Bianca (only in the winter season); and to Telti, with daily departures at 2:00 pm and about 45 min. trip.
ARST (Tel +39 789 553 000) operates buses to Siniscola (1 hour and 30 min.) and Nuoro (2 hours and 30 min.) between 6:50 am and 9:50 pm.
Deplano Autolinee (Tel +39 784 295 030) offers travels to Nuoro for €8.10, with stops at S. Teodoro, Budoni, Siniscola and Sologo; and to Cala Gonone (€16.00).
Sun Lines Elite Service (Tel +39 7895 0885 / 348 260 9881) runs to Alghero twice a day (€20.00), going through Sassari and Fertilia Airport; to Porto Rotondo, Cugnana, Porto Cervo, Cannigione, Laconia and Isuledda; and to Portotorres, via Calangianus, Trinità, Valledoria and Castelsardo.

Train - The station, located in Olbia city centre, can be reached through the public bus services until the stop at Via Gabriele D'Annunzio. Trains from there depart to Cagliari, Chilivani, Oristano, Macomer, Sassari and Golfo Aranci.

Taxi - Cabs available across from the Arrivals Hall. The fare to the city centre is €15.00, with a journey of 10-15 minutes. Reservations: Tel +39 7892 2718 / 7896 9150.

Opposite the passenger terminal there is a large parking area divided in three sectors. It has security personnel and is available 24 hours a day. Payment is made at automatic machines located in the pedestrian access. Directly in front of the main building there is also a passenger pick-up and drop-off zone which is free for 10 minutes. Rates and reservations

Sector B - Covered spaces for long stays across from the Arrivals Hall.
Sector C - Adjacent to the terminal, for short periods. The first 10 min. have no charge.

 
 

Facilities include free parking spaces in front of the terminal, a waiting room for passengers with reduced mobility (Tel +39 789 563 445), lifts, escalators, accessible toilets, tactile paths for the visually-impaired, wheelchairs and ambulifts to board and disembark from the aircraft. If you should require special assistance, notify your airline or travel agency at the moment of booking or 48 hours in advance.
