Reykjavík Airport, opened on March, 1940, is the second busiest in Iceland. It concentrates all domestic flights in the country, while international flights are operated from Keflavík airport. There are also flights to Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Bus - Strætó (Tel +354 540 2700) operates services to different destinations inside the city. Line 15 stops near Air Iceland Terminal and run to Reykjavegur, Reykjalundur, Háholt, Álfatangi, Lágafellsskóli, Vesturlandsvegur, Grensás, Laugardalshöll, Hlemmur, Landspítalinn, Hjarðarhagi, Hofsvallagata and Flyðrugrandi. It operates from Mondays through Fridays between 6:35 am and 1:00 am, Saturdays from 7:35 am to 1:00 am and Sundays from 9:35 am to 1:00 am. Next to the enclosure is located the BSÍ bus terminal, where you can board buses to many locations in the area.
Flybus (Tel +354 580 5400) offers transfers to different popular destinations, such as Keflavík airport (45 minutes).
Taxi - Cabs available outside the Arrivals area during scheduled flight times. Otherwise, inside the terminal there is a courtesy phone to request the service. The trip to the city centre takes around 10 minutes.
The enclosure has a free parking lot for short and long stays in front of the terminal building.
Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should notify their airline or travel agency about their particular needs at the time of their booking or at least 48 hours in advance.
