Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, opened on May 7, 1950, is the most important in Hungary. It operates with flights to the main cities in Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East, North America and China.

Bus - From 4:00 am to 11:00 pm, line 200E runs between the enclosure and Köbánya-Kispest metro station, via Ferihegy train station. Between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am, the bus goes to South Pest terminal (replaced by night bus 900 from 1:00 am to 4:00 am), from where routes 950 and 950A depart to downtown Budapest. Route 100E is a service to Kálvin Tér, Astoria and Deák Tér that operates every 30 minutes between 5:00 am and 0:30 am. Tickets can be acquired at the customer service points from BKK (Tel +36 1325 5255) located throughout the airport, information desks, post office, newsagents and ticket machines at the stops.
MiniBUD (Tel +36 1550 0000) provides door-to-door transportation 24 hours a day from the airport, with fares from €7.00. The company has counters in both terminals.
Metro - At Köbánya-Kispest terminal you can board line M3, heading for Újpest Központ, to reach the city centre. It operates every 5-10 minutes from 4:30 am to 11:30 pm. Intermediate stops include Határ út, Népliget, Klinikák, Kálvin tér, Ferenciek tere, Deák Ferenc tér, Lehel tér, Dözsa György út, Forgách utca, Újpest-Városkapu.
Train - The closest station is Ferihegy, where trains leave for Nyugati terminal, in the city centre, with a trip of about 25 minutes. More information: Tel +36 1349 4949.
Taxi - Cabs from Fötaxi (Tel +36 1222 2222) are available opposite the Arrivals level of both terminals. The journey to the city centre has a fare of around €22.00 and takes 25 minutes.

Premium Parking - Exclusive location on the Departures and Arrivals levels. The first 5 minutes have no charge.
Terminal Parking - Short-term lot 25 meters away from the main building, with 5 min. of free parking.
Business Parking - Guarded car park with a free shuttle to the terminals (2 min. trip).
Holiday Parking - Long-term area 400 meters away from the terminals.
Holiday Plus Parking - Spaces for long stays 175 meters away from the main building, connected through a covered walkway.
Holiday Parking Lite - Budget parking 600 meters away from the enclosure.
Central Parking - For medium and long stays, 175 meters away from Terminal 2B.
There are adapted restrooms, reserved parking spaces close to the terminals, wheelchairs and escort services to and from the airship. Passengers requiring special assistance should inform their airline about their needs at least 48 hours in advance.
