Rhodes Diagoras International Airport, opened on June 28, 1977, is one of the busiest in the country and serves the capital of the island of Rhodes. It operates with domestic flights and seasonal international destinations throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Location

Rhodes airport is located in the northern coast of the island, 16 km (10 miles) southwest from the city of the same name.

Bus - 300 meters away from the terminal you can board services from KTEL (Tel +30 224 102 7706) that run every 30 minutes to the city's west bus station, from 6:30 am to 11:15 pm. Journey time is around 30 min. and tickets have a cost of €2.40. They also run to Paradhissi, Kalavardha, Theologos and Salakos.

Taxi - Cabs are available in front of the terminal building. The fare to the city centre is about €25.00 and the trip takes 20-30 minutes. More information: Tel +30 224 106 9600 / 4778.
