Frankfurt - Hahn airport (HHN)

Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, opened on September 30, 1993, is an alternative to Frankfurt Airport. It operates with several destinations within Europe and Northern Africa, mainly with low-cost flights.

Location

The airport is located 10 km (6.25 miles) away from Kirchberg, 20 km (12.5 miles) away from Simmern and 120 km (75 miles) to the west of Frankfurt.

The airport has a currency exchange bureau, ATMs, fax and copying services, public telephones and free Wi-Fi access for 1 hour. Inside the administrative building, in the center of the airport grounds, there are conference rooms.

Shopping

- Duty-free shops in the Departures areas. There are also convenience stores, clothing, gifts, jewellery, newspapers, magazines, books, accessories.

Baggage

- Trolleys available throughout the terminal. Lockers inside the P1 car park, opposite the main building. The lost and found office operates Mondays through Fridays between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm (Tel +49 654 350 9111).
